Why does the Genie say Apple Intelligence is unavailable?
Apple Intelligence requires an iPhone 15 Pro or later (or a compatible Mac/Apple silicon) running a recent iOS/macOS version. On unsupported devices, Alien Genie automatically falls back to classic magic-8-ball style random answers — everything still works.
Why didn't a weather question get a real forecast?
Weather answers use Apple WeatherKit and require a location permission grant. If location access is denied or WeatherKit is temporarily unavailable, the Genie falls back to a regular AI/random answer instead.
Does Alien Genie contain ads or purchases?
No. Alien Genie is completely free, with no advertisements, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
Is my question history private?
Yes. Your reading history syncs only through your own private iCloud account and is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.
