Alien Genie is free and contains no advertising, tracking SDK, subscription, or in-app purchase. The app does not sell personal information.
Questions & Answers
Your questions are answered entirely on your device. When available, Apple Intelligence (Apple's own on-device Foundation Models) generates the reading. If Apple Intelligence is unavailable, Alien Genie uses a bundled open-source language model (Qwen3-0.6B) that also runs fully on-device. If neither is available, Alien Genie falls back to local pre-written template answers. In every case, your question text is processed on your device and is never sent to the developer, to Apple's servers, or to any third-party AI service.
Third-Party AI Services
Alien Genie does not use any third-party AI service. No question text, reading, or personal data is transmitted to an external AI provider. The two AI paths described above (Apple Intelligence and the bundled Qwen3-0.6B model) both run on-device and are the only sources of generated readings.
Weather & Location
Weather-related questions may use a named place or your approximate location to fetch weather context through Apple services, including MapKit and WeatherKit. Non-weather questions do not request location.
Reading History
Recent readings may be stored on your device and may sync through your iCloud key-value storage when iCloud is available. You can clear recent readings in the app.
Advertising & Purchases
Alien Genie does not display advertisements, use advertising or tracking SDKs, or offer subscriptions or in-app purchases.
External Links
The information screen includes optional links to Toku No Tabi on YouTube and Instagram. Opening a link leaves Alien Genie, and your activity is then governed by that service's privacy policy. Alien Genie does not receive your social-media account information or activity.
